Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) has successfully organised its first staff town hall session for 2017. The event, held at two different locations for both management and non-management staff from different departments across the Company saw participation of more than 500 staff.


PTP Town Hall was held as part of 2017 Stakeholders Engagement Programme aimed to strengthen solidarity amongst PTP employees and their understanding towards the Company’s latest updates.


This is the first town hall session led by Marco Neelsen since his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in 7 November 2016. During the sessions, Marco addressed various matters pertaining to the Company such as 2016 Performance Review, Highlights and Challenges, Key Focus for 2017 and many more. He also emphasised on the importance of safety, consistency of productivity and the significance of working as a unified and efficient team in the company.  


PTP Town Hall was planned and executed as part of the Company’s continuous initiatives to engage with its employees. It serves as a platform for the Management to share on company’s current progress and development as well as for employees to exchange ideas and opinions pertaining to their work and PTP in general.
