Greenland - AirAsia Livery Launching at Senai Business Aviation Terminal

Greenland Group unveiled a special appearance on livery on AirAsia’s Airbus A320 aircraft. The launching ceremony was held at Senai Business Aviation Terminal (SBAT), Senai International Airport.

The ceremony was attended by Du Fugen, General Manager of Greenland Malaysia, Spencer Lee, Head of Commercial, AirAsia Berhad, and Md Derick Basir, Chief Executive Officer, Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd. The three joined hands in a ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of the aircraft to inaugurate the newly-painted livery. The aircraft, which was wrapped with Greenland’s branding visual flies direct from Senai Airport to Guangzhou seven times weekly.

The partnership between Greenland and AirAsia aims to promote Johor Bahru as a major industry leader and hub for tourism, trade and investment and is hoping to connect and attract more visitors and key players especially with the ongoing development of Iskandar Malaysia. The highlight of the event was when Mr Lee announced that AirAsia will sponsor free tickets for local media, for them to experience and promote the route. The announcement came as a great surprise for media as it was first of its kind offered by AirAsia for the Johor based media.

Senai Airport will continue to collaborate with the players in the aviation industry to promote Johor Bahru and Malaysia as the main destination for travellers.
