The Langat Sewerage Project Draws Attention at IGEM 2016

MMC Pembentungan Langat Sdn Bhd (MMC PLSB) participated in International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM 2016) organised by the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology, and Water (KeTTHA).

The event held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 5 to 8 October 2016 and it was graced by YAB Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili, Minister of Energy, Green Technology & Water.

The Chief Minister then visited the Langat Centralised Sewage Treatment Plant (CSTP) project model at KeTTHA’s booth, accompanied by YB Dato' Seri Ir Dr Zaini Ujang, Secretary General of KeTTHA and YB Ir Dr Che Rosli Che Mat, Member of Parliament Hulu Langat.

This event has created an awareness and information to visitors and other exhibitor companies including from Japan, Korea and Singapore who participates in IGEM 2016 about the Langat CSTP project particularly on the usage of innovations and initiatives of latest technology in the market.

IGEM 2016 is a platform for the key drivers within the Malaysian Government’s Green Technology which aimed to position Malaysia as a Green Technology Hub for the ASEAN Region.
