Kontena Nasional Berhad (KNB), a Member of MMC Group organised its biennial Mini Sukan Kontena Nasional (MINI SUKON) for its employees at Semambu, Kuantan, Pahang.
The event was officiated by Encik Hairulnizam Tokiban, President of Kelab Sukan Rekreasi Kontena Nasional (KSRKN). The tournament aimed at strengthening and cultivating work relationship between employees in a more relaxed environment. Apart from futsal, a series of activities encompassing MINI SUKON were also held in various locations including marathon, netball, volleyball, badminton, tug of war and indoor games.
A total of five men’s team and four women’s team participated in the futsal tournament consisting of employees from branches all over Malaysia. Johor Branch bagged the first place for Men’s Futsal Team while Kuantan Branch won the first place for Women’s Futsal Team. Syed Yahya Syed Muhammad Norzan from Operations Kuantan Branch was crowned as the best player for Men’s category while Noor Sazlenna from Corporate Communications Department, Headquarters emerged as the best player for Women’s category.
