Senai Airport City Participates in Charity Run
Event to Support Palliative Care Association
of Johor Bahru and The Befrienders
Senai Airport City Sdn Bhd (SACSB) had participated in a charity run event to support the Palliative Care Association of Johor Bahru (PCAJB) and The Befrienders organisation.
Organised by Le Grandeur Palm Resort in Senai, Johor and named as “Charity Sunset Run4Fund 2017”, the event aimed at assisting PCAJB to generate funds for their means and to promote awareness of palliative care in Johor Bahru and for The Befrienders to create awareness about depression and how they can help people in need. The event attracted about 400 participants.
PCAJB is a non-profit organisation that provides homecare programme to cancer patients which require medical and nursing supports, while The Befrienders is a non-profit organisation aimed to help those in depression and in danger of suicidal tendencies.
SACSB’s participation in the event was part of SACSB’s commitment for its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives to society, particularly to the stakeholders within the Senai community.
