Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad (AIRB), MMC Engineering Services Sdn Bhd (MMCES) and MMC Pembetungan Langat Sdn Bhd, Members of MMC Group participated in the 7th IWA-ASPIRE Conference 2017 & Water Malaysia Exhibition 2017 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.


The event, jointly organised by The Malaysian Water Association, Asia Pacific Group (ASPIRE) and The International Water Association (IWA) was officiated by YB Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili, Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) along with Datuk Ir. Abdul Kadir Mohd Din, President of Malaysian Water Association and Ms Diane Dárras, President of International Water Association.


Also present during the event were Dato’ Seri Ir Dr Zaini Ujang, Secretary-General of KeTTHA and Dato' Dr Tan Yew Chong, Vice Secretary-General of KeTTHA.


The 3-day event, focusing on a range of water related topics aimed at strengthening the water sector to overcome the challenges in sustainable water management. On the second day of the event, En. Adam Saffian Ghazali, Chief Executive Officer of AIRB gave a short presentation titled ‘Economics of Wastewater Recycling’ to the audience including Datuk Ir. Abdul Kadir Mohd Din and several delegates. The presentation focuses on issues arising within the water sector and how to tackle the issue through recycling.


Apart from being a platform for water professionals to gather and engage, the 7th IWA-ASPIRE Conference 2017 & Water Malaysia Exhibition 2017 provided an invaluable opportunity for the industry practitioners and experts to discuss on current development and water management issues within the region.
