Northport (Malaysia) Bhd, a Member of MMC Group organised an effective stakeholder engagement session with its key stakeholders. The session, which involved participation of Northport’s logistics customers, the Container Freight Station (CFS) and Consolidators, was held at Northport’s corporate office in Port Klang.
It was the 4th session of stakeholders engagement program, organised quarterly by Northport, after similar sessions were held with the haulage operators, contractors and service providers.
A total of 50 directors and heads of companies of the logistic companies attended the session, to meet and listen to the briefing by Dato’ Azman, Chief Executive Officer of Northport.
Among the contents of Dato’ Azman’s briefing were the latest updates on Northport and new initiatives as well as improvements introduced by the Company, especially on Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) related subjects. Dato’ Azman also updated the CFS and Consolidators of Northport’s logistics business development plan that offers new facilities and services for the logistics operators.
The stakeholder engagement session is one of the platforms initiated by Northport to effectively interact with its strategic stakeholders. It is hoped that this program will further strengthen the long-term business relationship between Northport and its logistics customers.
