Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), Johor Port Berhad (JPB), Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (SATSSB) and Senai Airport City Sdn Bhd (SACSB), Members of MMC Group participated in the Invest Iskandar Malaysia 2017 Symposium (Invest IM) at Phoenix Hotel, Forest City, Johor. Invest IM 2017 was held in conjunction with Iskandar Malaysia’s 10th anniversary celebration.


This was the second edition of Invest IM, organised by Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA). The launching event was officiated by YAB Dato’ Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Chief Minister of Johor while YB Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of International Trade & Technology attended to give the Ministerial Keynote Address entitled “ASEAN Tigers: Rise of the Next Economic Powerhouse”.


Also present during the 2-day event were Datuk Ismail Ibrahim, Chief Executive of IRDA, Datin Badriyah Ab Malek, Deputy Secretary – General for Energy and Green Technology, Ministery of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA), Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PTP, Shahrull Allam Shah, CEO of JPB, Md Derick Basir, CEO of SATSSB and Gan Seng Keong, General Manager of MMC Group Property.


This year’s theme ‘Shaping the Future Economy of Iskandar Malaysia’ aimed at offering three thrusts covering investments, green and digital economy and bringing together key thought leaders, capital market players, potential investors and entrepreneurs. Shahrull Allam Shah was also invited as one of the panel speakers during the session titled “Game Changer and Growth Drivers: Shaping the Next 10 Years”.


The participation of MMC Group at Invest Iskandar Malaysia 2017 Symposium was part of the on-going MMC Group stakeholders’ engagement initiative to strengthen relationship between the Group and its relevant business partners including the customers and government agencies.
