Northport Supplies Clean Water to

Dialysis Centre

Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a Member of MMC Group assisted a dialysis centre in Sri Andalas Klang by supplying clean water for its daily operations. The water supply assistance was in response to water disruption in the Klang area to the patient's treatment centre.

A total of 4,000 litres of clean water was supplied through Northport Fire Rescue Team to fill up the center’s water tanks using Northport’s fire engine, involving nine Fire and Rescue personnel.

Clean water is essential for the centre to provide a safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis. The watert will then be treated using a special treatment system to achieve an appropriate quality for the dialysis operations.

This initiative was part of Northport’s Corporate Social Responsibility Programme as a responsible corporate citizen in providing necessary support as well as promoting goodwill within the local community.
