Johor Port Launches One-stop Centre

‘Kompleks Import Eksport Pelabuhan Johor’ for an Effective Clearance Process

Johor Port Berhad (JPB), a Member of MMC Group successfully organised a launching ceremony for its new building, ‘Kompleks Import Eksport Pelabuhan Johor’ at Johor Port Berhad, Pasir Gudang, Johor. YBhg Dato’ Sri Subromaniam Tholasy, Director General of the Royal Malaysian Customs Department was present at the event to officiate the new building.

Also present were Mr. Ian James, Group Chief Executive Officer, MMC Port Holdings Sdn Bhd, En Shahrull Allam Shah Abdul Halim, Chief Executive Officer of Johor Port Berhad, En Muhammad Razif Ahmad, General Manager of Johor Port Authority and Tuan Mohammad Hamiddan Maryani, Director of Johor Customs.

The opening of ‘Kompleks Import Eksport Pelabuhan Johor’ was part of JPB’s ongoing efforts to improve its services to the customers. The new building will operate as a One-Stop Centre for an efficient and effective import and export clearance process.

Additionally, the building will house government agencies related to port services, the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, the Immigration Department of Malaysia, the Royal Malaysian Police, the Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection, the Malaysian Timber Industry Board and the Pharmaceutical Services Division.
