MMC Port Holdings Sdn Bhd (MMC Ports), a Member of MMC Group participated in the UAE-Malaysia Business and Investment Forum (UMBIF) and Halal Trade, Manufacturing and Logistics Summit (Halal Summit) at the InterContinental Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
YB Dato' Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia together with His Excellency Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Economy of United Arab Emirates were present to give their keynote addresses on the first day of the event.
UMBIF and Halal Summit were organised simultaneously under the Global Trade Development Week 2018 Summit and Exhibition programme. The event drew more than 350 local and international participants. Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Northport and En Afri Affandi, CEO of Kontena Nasional were invited as the panel speakers during the forum.
MMC Ports’ participation in UMBIF and Halal Summit was part of its on-going stakeholders’ engagement initiatives to strengthen relationships with key stakeholder in ports and international shipping business.
