Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (SATSSB) signed a pledge in effort to combat corruption and misconduct by joining the Corruption-Free Pledge with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) at Senai International Airport.

The pledge was led by Md Derick Basir, Chief Executive Officer of SATSSB, witnessed by Dato’ Hj Azmi Hj Alias, Director of MACC Johor.

During the pledge, all SATSSB’s employees vowed to give full commitment and support to MACC’s initiative in fighting corruption and abuse of power in the operations and management of the airport and always practice integrity and transparency in performing daily tasks not only at workplace but also outside of office, while living their daily lives.

Dato’ Hj Azmi Hj Alias also congratulated SATSSB for maintaining a clean record of no corruption misconduct from 2014 until December 2017 and hoped that SATSSB will continue to operate and develop Senai International Airport corruption-free.

SATSSB’s voluntary effort to sign the pledge is a manifest to show their highest commitment to combat corruption and power abuse, as well as to show support and raise awareness that the responsibility to fight corruption does not belong to MACC only, but a collective duty and responsibility of all members of society.
