PTP Continues to Foster Good

Relationship with Government Agencies

Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a Member of MMC Group, received a working visit from YBhg Dato’ Dr Mohammad Ezzani Mat Salleh, Director, Department of Environment Johor and several other representatives from the state and federal government agencies.

Upon arrival, YBhg Dato’ Dr Mohammad Ezzani Mat Salleh was welcomed by Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP and members of management team of PTP. Also present during the visit were Muhammad Razif Ahmad, General Manager of Johor Port Authority and representatives from Department of Environment, Marine Department, Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, Irrigation and Drainage Department, Johor Economic Planning Unit, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission and Johor Port Authority.

The agenda of the visit includes a presentation on PTP’s dredging project followed by a tour at the port terminal areas and the Marine Control Centre.

The visit by state and federal government agencies was part of PTP’s stakeholders’ engagement programmes to enhance relationships with various state and federal government agencies and authorities. A strong and effective bilateral relation between PTP and key stakeholders will ensure continuous support and commitment from both parties as well as positioning PTP as a proactive and responsible business organisation.
