Johor Port Berhad (JPB), a Member of MMC Group, participated in an exhibition at ‘Karnival MOT 2018’, organised by the Ministry of Transport Malaysia (MOT) at Dataran Bentong, Pahang.
The event, aimed at engaging with the local community and promoting JPB’s business, kicked off with a fun run activity which was officiated by YB Dato’ Sri Liow Tiong Lai, Minister of Transport, who also participated in the 5km run together with the Bentong community. Also present during the event were Datuk Azhar Arshad, Bentong District Officer and Dato’ Mohammad Shahid Ismail, President of the Bentong Municipal Council.
Other activities conducted during the event include exhibition booths by MOT and its agencies, a Motorcycle Helmet Exchange Programme, Car and Motorcycle Inspections, Change of Engine Oil for Motorcycles and Health screening service.
On the event day, JPB hosted a career day and organised fun activities such as ‘crossword puzzle’ and ‘name the transport’. YB Dato’ Sri Liow Tiong Lai also had the opportunity to visit JPB’s booth.
The participation of JPB at ‘Karnival MOT 2018’ was part of its on-going stakeholder engagement initiatives to strengthen relationship with key business partners, customers and government agencies.
