Educational Visit With Engineering Students

MMC Pembetungan Langat Sdn Bhd (MMC PLSB), a Member of MMC Group, received a visit from Construction Engineering Technology Diploma students of Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Mara, Sri Gading, Batu Pahat, Johor. MMC PLSB welcomed the group of 11 students accompanied by two lecturers, at Langat Sewerage Project’s Public Information Centre as well at the operation sites.
During the visit, Ir. Moghan Muniandy from SHMB Sdn Bhd, the Langat Centralised Sewage Treatment Plan (CSTP) consultant, shared with the students the design and build of the CSTP facility. The fruitful session covered important aspects such as an Introduction to Sewage Treatment, Langat CSTP Overview, Treatment Process System Design, Civil and Structural Engineering Design as well as Green Technology Elements.
The educational visit to the Public Information Centre, is part of the learning experience for the students to inspire them in striving for better ecosystem in modern cities through proper sewerage network and advanced sewage treatment plant process with Japanese technology capabilities. The Public Information Centre serves as a venue of exchanging information and knowledge to the students and members of the public.
The Langat Sewerage Project’s Public Information Centre is open for public, corporate or group visits from 8.30am to 5.30pm during weekdays and from 8.00am to 12.00 noon on Saturdays - upon appointment.
