Senai Airport City Stages Roadshow to Attract FMM Members

Senai Airport City Sdn Bhd (SAC), a member of MMC Group, successfully organised a roadshow together with Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) and SAC’s two co-developers namely Eco World Development Group Bhd (Eco World) and IPark Development Sdn Bhd (IPark). The one day event was held on 30 October 2018 in Senai Business Aviation Terminal, Senai International Airport, Johor.


The event was graced and officiated by YB Jimmy Puah Wee Tse, Johor State Executive Council Chairman of International Trade, Investment and Utility Committee. Also present with YB Puah were       YB Allan Tee, ADUN Senai; Dato’ Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Group Managing Director of MMC Corporation Berhad; Captain Abdullah Shariff, Chairman of FMM Johor; Rozano Yahaya, Director of Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Johor; as well as officials and representatives from SAC, Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd, Eco World Development Group Bhd, IPark Development Sdn Bhd, Johor State Investment Centre (JSIC), Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA), Kastam Diraja Malaysia (KDRM), Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) and local authorities.


The highlight of the roadshow was the forum session titled “An Opportunity to Grow Your Business with Us at a Masterplanned Industrial Park”. The primary goal for this forum was to introduce Senai Airport City as a masterplanned industrial park which is supported by IPark and Eco World’s gated-and-guarded industrial parks to complete a holistic ecosystem. The forum also discussed current issues in existing industrial parks in Johor.


The audience were also taken on a site visit to Senai Airport City, Eco Business Park 2 and i-Park@Senai Airport City. At the end of the event, guests were treated with a luncheon and business networking session.


The collaboration event was part of SAC’s initiatives to continuously create brand awareness and business opportunities among potential investors. Apart from that, it was also an effort to strengthen the relationships between SAC, Eco World and IPark with their relevant business partners including the FMM, customers and government bodies.
