MMC Pembetungan Langat Hosts Mini

Seminar and Educational Visit for MSU Engineering Students

MMC Pembetungan Langat Sdn Bhd, a member of MMC Group, organised a mini seminar and educational visit for the Management & Science University students at its project site office.

Fifty-one engineering students accompanied by seven lecturers attended the mini seminar entitled Engineering Design Basics for Langat Centralised Treatment Plant (CSTP), presented by the project consultants - Ir Moghan Muniandy from SMHB Sdn Bhd and Mr Cheah Siang Li from Wet Envitech Sdn Bhd.

The contents of the seminar included an Introduction to Sewage Treatment, Overview of Langat CSTP, Treatment Process System Design, Civil and Structural Engineering Design, Green Technology Elements and a few other interesting topics.

Aside from highlighting the Japanese sewerage system technology that is incorporated in the Langat CSTP, the program was also meant to expose the engineering students to the advantages of having a systematic treatment plant process.

The seminar ended with a Q&A session before the students were led to the site office rooftop to see the  construction of the project.
