Northport Strengthens Ties with

Customers Through Bowling Tournament

Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group organised its annual sporting event, Northport Bowling Challenge 2019 for its customers and business partners at Sunway Mega Lanes, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre on 16 March 2019. A total of 46 teams took part in this year’s tournament with 184 players competed each other in three round games.


Nadia Izzati from Nippon Express (M) Sdn Bhd won the Women’s category while Izwan Masudi from       NS Bluescope Malaysia Sdn Bhd walked away as the Men’s category champion. Meanwhile in the team category, Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd was crowned the champion of Northport Bowling Challenge 2019, leaving CCM Berhad and NS Bluescope at second and third positions respectively. This is Boustead’s second time crowned champion after winning the challenge in 2013.


Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof, Chief Executive Officer of Northport and Mohd Ali Abdul Hussain, Northport’s Head of Business Strategy presented the prizes to all winners.


Northport’s annual sporting events are organised with the aim of strengthening good relationships between Northport and its primary stakeholders in a casual environment. Northport believes that sporting events are an excellent platform to unite industry players, offer opportunities for networking as well as strengthen relationships with its customers and business partners.
