Senai International Airport Hosts

YB Anthony Loke, Minister of Transport

during a Working Visit

Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (Senai International Airport), a member of MMC Group, earlier today received an inaugural official working visit from the Ministry of Transportation delegation led by  YB Anthony Loke, Minister of Transport.

Together present during the visit were YB Haji Mazlan Bujang, Chairman of Johor Works, Infrastructure and Transport Committee; YB Liow Cai Tung, Chairman of Johor Women Development and Tourism Committee; as well as YB Alan Tee Boon Tsong, ADUN Senai.

YB Loke and delegation were welcomed by YBhg Dato’ Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Chairman of Senai International Airport cum Group Managing Director of MMC Corporation Berhad; Mr Md Derick Basir, Chief Executive Officer of Senai International Airport; and Senai International Airport management team.

During the visit, YB Loke and the delegation were taken for a tour around the main passenger terminal where they experienced and inspected the newly upgraded immigration checkpoint, international boarding hall, check-in area and retail area.

The minister and delegation were then brought to a closed briefing session led by Mr Md Derick, whom elaborated on operational performance and ongoing development of Senai International Airport. The working visit to Senai International Airport was concluded with a visit to the Sapura Aero aircraft hangar located in the Senai Airport Aviation Park.
