MMC Group celebrated the festive spirit by hosting Hari Raya Open House at Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur.
Aptly themed ‘Seindah Aidilfiri’, this annual celebration gathered more than 1,500 guests mostly dressed in colourful baju kurung and baju melayu to embrace the air of festivity. All guests were jointly welcomed by Dato’ Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Group Managing Director of MMC Corporation Berhad and the senior management team.
Also, in attendance were Datuk Ir Ahmad Fauzi Hasan, Chairman of Energy Commission; Dato’ Sr Aziz Abdullah, Director General of Malaysian Highway Authority; Lim Swee Kuan, Press Secretary of Minister of Transport; Dato’ Mohamed Rafique Merican, Group Chief Executive Officer of Maybank Islamic Berhad; Dato’ Khairussaleh Ramli, Group Managing Director of RHB; Lee Jim Leng, Group Managing Director of Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad; Dato’ Noorizah Abdul Hamid, Board of Director of Mass Rapid Transportation Corporation Sdn Bhd; Dato’ Sri Syed Faisal Albar Syed A.R Albar, Group Managing Director of DRB-Hicom as well as board members, media, authorities and government officials.
During the event, the invitees were treated with a selection of traditional and authentic Hari Raya delicacies such as satay, rendang, lemang, briyani rice, rojak, pasembor were among the treats awaiting the guests. As everyone sampling the mouth-watering dishes, this Raya do was also an ideal platform for employees of MMC Group to mingle with guests from various backgrounds.
