Northport’s CEO Meets Employees

at Town Hall Session

Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group organised a town hall session for its employees at CBM Hall Northport. More than 200 employees attended the programme.

During the session, Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Northport briefed on year-to-date updates of Northport’s business as well as its productivity performance. He further shared the challenges facing by the port industry and urged all employees to strive together to improve and strengthen Northport’s business operations. In the course of fulfilling the desired efficiency, productivity as well as to improve the company’s overall business performance, Dato’ Azman also highlighted that Northport is currently in the midst of optimising and streamlining its manpower functions. Following to this, details of the Voluntary Separation Scheme programme for Northport staff was announced during the town hall session which will be offered to the qualified and interested personnel.

At the end of the session, the audience was given the opportunity to raise questions directly to the CEO where clarifications were given, and feedback, as well as opinions, were shared. Town hall sessions are an effective employee engagement platform for the management of Northport to interact with its employees at all levels, in its continuous efforts to further strengthen the spirit of TeamNorthport.
