MESTECC Remains Defending

Champion at Football Friendly Match with Malakoff

On 1 November 2019, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), a member of MMC Group, held its annual friendly football match with the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (MESTECC) at Padang Bola Sepak, Institut Semarak Felda (ISEF), Bangi. Organised by Malakoff, the event’s objective was to strengthen the bond between Malakoff and MESTECC at the working level.

The game kicked off at 8:30pm where both teams immediately struck an attack towards one another in the pitch in hope to score the first goal, but to no avail. The second half commenced and Zubir Alif Zainon of MESTECC finally succeeded in scoring the opening goal. A second and winning goal was made by Hazaide bin Zainudin from MESTECC thus, making them the defending champion once again.

With the final result of 2-0, MESTECC officially won the match and took home the challenge trophy.
