Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (Senai International Airport), a member of MMC Group, hosted a business networking event, ‘Senai Airport Aviation Park: Your Next MRO Hub’ at Senai Business Aviation Terminal.
The event was attended by more than 30 delegates from the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) and Fixed Based Operations industry players around Malaysia. This event was held with the aim to introduce and promote the facilities, amenities and services available at Senai International Airport.
Present during the session were YM Engku Ahmad Kamel Engku Taib, Director of Economic Prosperity, Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA), Daiana Mohd Zain, Senior Deputy Director of Transport Technologies Industry Division, Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and Noor Safura Suib, Chief Operations Officer of Senai International Airport.
The delegates were given a briefing and presentation by IRDA on the general opinion of MRO’s outlook in Iskandar Malaysia followed by an introduction on Senai Airport Aviation Park by the representative of Senai International Airport. The half day programme was concluded with a presentation by MIDA on the government’s investment incentives followed by a site visit to get a clearer insight and overview of Senai Airport Aviation Park.
