Senai Airport City Sdn Bhd (Senai Airport City), a Member of MMC Group participated in the Community Initiated Iskandar Malaysia Conference 2016 (CIMC), titled Asia’s “New Cape of Good Hope”: Iskandar Malaysia in Dialogue with Modern Maritime Silk Road.

The event, held at Thistle Hotel, Johor Bahru on 14 January 2016 was participated by Senai Airport City to create awareness and to promote Senai Airport City’s development. CIMC was also participated by reputable developers such as Sime Darby, UM Land, Country Garden and Ace Empire.

Among the prominent speakers present at CIMC were Datuk Tee Siew Kiong, Johor Executive State Council, Tun Musa Hitam, former Deputy Prime Minister and Prof Datuk Ismail Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer of IRDA.

Also in attendance were local government agencies involved in facilitating investor relations such as IRDA, MIDA, JSIC and business associations such as SME Association of South Johor, Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore, The Chinese Indonesian Association, Johor Bahru Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and many more.

The event had successfully attracted 500 participants who are keen to invest in the development of Iskandar Malaysia.
