MMC Corporation Berhad (MMC) had participated in the CIDB IEM Construction Career Fair which was held on 12 to 14 April 2016 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Apart from being involved in the recruitment drive through the career fair, the 3-day event also saw a signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between MMC and The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).

The MoU was signed off by our representative Tuan Syed Feizal Syed Mohammad, CEO, MMC Engineering Group Berhad and En Izham Wahab, Head, Group Human Resources, MMC Corporation Berhad and representatives from IEM, YBhg Dato’ Ir. Lim Chow Hock, President of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia and Ir. Yam Teong Sian, Honorary Secretary of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia.

The establishment of the co-operative relationship between MMC and IEM will enable MMC to promote sound professional engineering practice in support of the socio-economic development objectives of the nation, service the needs and interests of its members as well as the public while upholding the social standing and image of the engineering profession. It will also allow MMC to continuously enhance its engineers’ professional development through programmes as well as networking activities organised by IEM for engineers from similar industry and other industries to connect and exchange knowledge for self-development.
