MAIN EDITOR'S NOTE IN BUSINESS CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY ENGAGEMENTS HIGHLIGHTS

Senai International Airport was proud to be the venue host for ‘Majlis Pelancaran Bulan Kemerdekaan Peringkat Daerah Kulai 2016’. The ceremony held on 25 August 2016, was officiated by the Kulai District Officer, Encik Md Za’anal bin Misran and witnessed by 150 representatives from various government agencies, school students as well as the general public.

The ceremony continued with a special performance by Sultan Ibrahim Girls School, Johor Bahru’s choir team performing patriotic anthems while Encik Md Za’anal distributed the Malaysian flags to the representatives of government agencies and related organisations including Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (SATSSB).

The main highlight of the ceremony was the flag-off of the Merdeka Convoy led by 20 traffic police motorcycles followed by taxis and public vehicles at the entrance of Senai Aeromall.

Apart from the ceremony, Senai International Airport was selected as one of the pit-stop point for ‘Kempen Malaysia di Hatiku’ organised by Kelab Generasi Ilmu 1 Malaysia and Sinar Harian. The event also saw a special appearance by the Minister of Education, YB Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid who participated in the ‘Merdeka Salute’ with SATSSB’s employees and public audience.

SATSSB, a Member of MMC Group, is committed to continuously support and participate in programmes that instil patriotism and promote integration among SATSSB and the Senai community.
