On 8 September 2016, MMC Group participated in the third Bursa Bull Charge held in Kuala Lumpur.
The run was flagged off at Exchange Square Bukit Kewangan, Bursa Malaysia which saw more than 2,000 runners charge through Kuala Lumpur’s Capital Market trail, a route that passes the headquarters of many Capital Market players including MMC Corporation Berhad’s office.
MMC was represented by Encik Afri Affandi Baharuddin, Chief Executive Officer of Kontena Nasional Berhad for the 1.5km CEOs Run while Farhana Borhanudin (Gas Malaysia Berhad), Azian Baharuddin (MMC Pembetungan Langat Sdn Bhd), Muhamad Amirul Mamat (MMC Engineering Services Sdn Bhd) and Ooi Tze Shyong (MMC Corporation Berhad) ran for 5km under the Corporate & Future Leaders Challenge run category.
The crowd’s colourful and positive energy was evident at the Bursa Bull Charge 2016 as various organisations came together to show their support for this charitable cause. “The Bursa Bull Charge capital market charity run has raised RM1.9 million that will benefit 10 beneficiaries and 28 philanthropies dedicated to helping underprivileged children and women, “said Bursa Malaysia Chief Executive Officer Datuk Seri Tajuddin Atan.
