On 6 September 2016, Kontena Nasional Berhad (KN), a Member of MMC Group together with selected agencies namely Agensi Kaunseling Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK), Lembaga Tabung Haji, Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), Tabung Warisan Anak Selangor (TAWAS) and Top Vision Eye Optometrist held an Employee Engagement Day and Safety Campaign at its branch in Port Klang.


Encik Afri Affandi bin Baharuddin, the Chief Executive Officer of KNB officiated the campaign that was attended by nearly 200 employees from 10am to 5pm.


The event was organised to raise awareness on health and safety amongst the employees. A fire safety campaign was also held at the same time and was conducted by the Pertubuhan Pencegah Kebakaran (PPK), Kuala Lumpur. PPK and KN have joint hands in its continuous efforts to educate the public on preventive fire mechanism and the promotion of “safety first” culture in all aspects of life.


All booths were fully attended to and all attendees have gained tremendous benefits by participating in the event.
