On 4 February 2016, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a Member of MMC Group, organised a Chinese New Year celebration at the Rumah Orang Tua CKS, Klang, Selangor as part of its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. The programme involved cleaning, painting and decorating the old folks home by TeamNorthport represented by staff from various divisions, to bring out the atmosphere of joy in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration.

Rumah Orang Tua CKS, Klang which houses 18 senior citizens, was established in the year 2000 and is funded by contributions from concerned citizens and private companies.

As one of the largest and oldest ports in Malaysia, Northport has never forgotten those in need and will continue to implement such CSR activities, in line with the work-life balance and core values of the Company.
