Ministry of Transport’s Secretary General Datuk Seri Saripuddin Kassim made his first inaugural visit to Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) on 11 February 2016 as part of his ‘Lawatan Turun Padang’ programme for the month of February 2016.

Datuk Seri Saripuddin Kassim and delegations were received by MMC Group Managing Director and PTP Chairman, Dato’ Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh along with Mr Ian James, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MMC Ports, Mr Johannes De Jong, Acting CEO of PTP and En Shahrull Allam Shah Abdul Halim, CEO of Johor Port and the rest of MMC Group and PTP Senior Management team.

During the visit, Datuk Seri Sarippuddin Kassim and delegation were taken for a tour at PTP Marine Control Centre, PTP Free Zone District A and B as well as the terminal area. Datuk Seri Sarippuddin Kassim was very pleased with the overall operations at PTP.
