On 19 August 2016, Senai Business Aviation Terminal (SBAT) received the arrival of King Msati III, the King of Swaziland who flew in for a special royal visit to Bukit Serene Palace, Johor Bahru.

The Menteri Besar of Johor, YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin was present to welcome the King who arrived by a private Boeing 762-200ER aircraft. The royal visit was aimed to strengthen ties between the Johor and African governments besides exchanging opinions and discussing various related matters.

The ground operations for the King’s flight were fully handled by Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd’s (SATSSB) Operations team.
