Malakoff Hosts Working Visit by Government Officers from the Public Service Department

On 10 August 2016, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), a Member of MMC Group, hosted a working visit by 60 government officers from the Public Service Department at Malakoff Academy of X-cellence.

The working visit is part of the Public Service Department’s Advanced Leadership and Management Programme (ALMP) at Institut Tadbiran Awam Negara (INTAN) which focuses on knowledge and contemporary management trends to produce charismatic senior leaders in their respective agencies.

The group from INTAN was led by Dr Zainal Abidin bin Sait, leader of the third ALMP of Series 51 for 2016. The purpose of the visit was to expose the officers to Malakoff’s talent and strategic management and good governance practices. The group consisted of high-ranking officers in the Jawatan Utama Sektor Awam (JUSA) grade from various government departments and agencies and their counterparts with equivalent positions across various service schemes.

In his welcoming speech, the Group Managing Director of Malakoff, Datuk Wira Azhar Abdul Hamid expressed his appreciation to INTAN for choosing to visit a corporate organisation such as Malakoff as a requirement under the ALMP. He added that, “besides giving the officers exposure on the Malakoff corporate journey and imparting them with our knowledge and valuable experience in managing the Company, this visit is also an opportunity to strengthen our working relationship with them.”
