Malakoff Organises “Let’s Go Fishing” with Energy Commission

On 27 August 2016, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), held a “Let’s Go Fishing” programme with Energy Commission (EC) at Port Dickson Power Plant. The inaugural leisurely programme was organised to strengthen the working relationship between Malakoff and EC.

The event saw the participation of 15 avid anglers from EC, led by Encik Nawawi Said Abdullah, Head of Investigation, Regional Co-ordination and Enforcement Unit, who fully utilised every corner of the pond at Port Dickson Power Plant to find the best spot to throw their baits.

Encik Mohamad Hilmi Ibrahim from EC was named the grand prize winner of the fishing competition followed by Encik Amirza Zainal Abidin of Malakoff and Encik Firdaus of EC at second and third place respectively.

Encik Lukman Hakim Md Ali, the Plant Manager at Port Dickson Power Plant handed out the prizes to the winners and closed the event with a thank you to all the participants who made “Let’s Go Fishing” an enjoyable success.
