Kontena Nasional Berhad (KNB), a Member of MMC Group successfully organised a bowling tournament for its employees through Kontena Nasional Recreational Sport Club at Bowling Mega Lanes, Sunway Pyramid, Subang Jaya.
The event saw a total of 60 bowlers comprising 15 teams competed against each other in the two-hour game. After two games, team ‘Kasi Gegar’ emerged as the overall champion with a total of 1,023 point for group category. For the single series, the highest ranked for men category was awarded to Azmi Abdullah from Information Technology Department, while Noor Sazlenna Johan from Corporate Communications department scores the highest for the ladies’ category.
The event ended with a prize giving ceremony by Encik Hairulnizam Tokiban, President of Kelab Sukan Rekreasi Kontena Nasional.
The bowling tournament was part of KNB’s stakeholders’ engagement sessions aimed at sustaining strong relationship amongst its employees in a more relaxed and fun environment and at the same time instilling good sportsmanship spirit and teamwork between them.
