PTP Shares Industrial Safety Awareness with Local Community of Mukim Tanjung Kupang

 Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, conducted a control briefing on industrial safety awareness with the local community of Mukim Tanjung Kupang, Gelang Patah.

The briefing session were attended by Muhammad Faiz Mohd Pandi, Chief of Mukim Tanjung Kupang, Khairul Amalin Abd Rahman, Head of Health, Safety, Security and Environment of PTP, Mohd Zahari Rusjuna, Health, Safety, Security and Environment of Johor Port Authority along with several village chiefs and the local community.  The session aimed at providing knowledge to the local community on rules and regulations involved under Control of Industrial Major Accident Hazards.

Held at Kompleks Penghulu Mukim Tanjung Kupang, a Fire Safety Talk covering emergency preparedness and evacuation was given by Lokman Hakim Sulaiman, Head of Emergency and Crisis Management Department of PTP. The session ended with a demonstration on how to use fire extinguishers and fire blankets in the event of a fire incident.
