Penang Port Delivers Care Packages to Medical Frontliners

Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB), a member of MMC Group, organised a second phase of PPSB Care Packages for the medical frontliners at Penang General Hospital as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility Programme (CSR) during the Covid-19 pandemic.

100 sets of PPSB Care Packages were distributed by Sasedharan Vasudevan, Chief Executive Officer of PPSB to Dr. Premalosini @ Maria, Deputy Director (Medical) of Penang General Hospital  together with their medical frontliners. The package consists of drink, biscuits, noodles, brown sugar, hand wash and body shampoo.

This CSR programme was a continuity of the same initiative taken by PPSB on 31 March 2020, where 100 Care Packages containing basic necessities such as rice, sugar, canned food, milk, body wash and detergent were distributed to healthcare workers of Penang General Hospital to help them to provide daily necessities for their families at home despite of the long working hours.
