PTP and Malakoff Collaborate with Deputy Minister II Plantation Industries and Commodities in Sponsoring School Essentials to Tanjung Piai Students

Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) and Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), members of MMC Group, together with YB Datuk Seri Dr Wee Jeck Seng, Deputy Minister II Plantation Industries and Commodities, contributed school essentials to 1,000 primary and secondary underprivileged students in Tanjung Piai during the ‘Back to School 2021 Distribution Programme’.

The event was held at Pusat Khidmat Pekan Nenas involving students from thirty-seven primary and secondary schools in Pekan Nenas, Pontian. PTP was represented by Nasution Saad Putra Saad, Head of Government Liaison and Free Zone Authority, while Malakoff was represented by Mohammad Amiruddin Kamaludin, Head of Production of Tanjung Bin Power Plant. Each student received a set of school uniform, a pair of school shoes, bag and stationery set.

‘Back to School Programme’ is part of the Companies annual Corporate Social Responsibilities programmes aimed at alleviating the parents’ burden and helping them to prepare their kids for the new school academic year by providing them with brand new school essentials.
