PTP Inks Agreement with the Department Skills Development to Enhance Equipment Operators’ Skills According to National Occupational Skills Standards

Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, has successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department Skills Development of the Ministry of Human Resources.

The MoU was signed virtually between YBhg Dato’ Ts Haji Zaihan Shukri, Director General of Skills and Jaizal Kamar Jalaludin, Head of Human Capital Management of PTP. The ceremony was also witnessed by Ts Dr Mohamad Sulaiman, Assistant Director (Development) and the late Noordin Sulaiman, PTP Head of Learning and Development Department.

This collaboration was aimed at providing skills development opportunities for PTP’s employees, especially to the port equipment operators through the Malaysian Skills Certification and the development of National Occupational Skills Standard modules for Port Industry to produce more skilled employees in PTP and other Malaysia ports in general.

Moving forward, PTP will continue to establish more collaborations to further enhance its human capital development skills and capabilities to deliver the best possible value to the organisation, its customers and stakeholders.
