MMC Pembetungan Langat Contributes Seven Cattles and 600 Boxes of Cookies for the Celebration of Hari Raya Aidiladha to the Communities

MMC Pembetungan Langat Sdn Bhd (MMC PLSB) continues to give back to the community by contributing seven cows for ‘ibadah korban’ and 600 boxes of cookie to 5 selected surau/mosque in conjunction with Aidiladha celebration, despite implementation of Emergency Movement Control Order (EMCO).

Through strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) from Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS), the sacrificial slaughtering was executed at the centralized slaughterhouse before it is distributed to the surau/mosques’ committee members and later handed over to the residents along the project’s alignment

The selected surau and mosque are al Surau Al-Hidayah, Kampung Sungai Balak and Masjid Sungai Sekamat which received 2 cows, Cheras Surau Ar-Rahman, Taman Desa Karunmas, Masjid Nurul Ihsan, Taman Seri Cheras and Masjid Kariah Batu 10, Cheras which received one cow respectively.

The contribution was handed over by the Deputy Project Director, MMC PLSB, Major Zulkarnain witness by the representative of Sewerage Services Department, which is the implementing government agency of the project. Apart from strengthening good relations with the locals, MMC PLSB also fulfilling its social corporate responsibility by helping the surrounding communities especially during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and hopefully enlivens Aidiladha celebration for the community.
