Gas Malaysia Continues its Effort to Aid Frontliners by Contributing Medical Equipment to Hospitals

Gas Malaysia Berhad (Gas Malaysia), a member of MMC Group, recently donated medical equipment to three selected hospitals as an effort to aid our frontliners to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. This medical equipment are vital in helping our frontliners to battle the outbreak and treat COVID-19 patients. In line with this, Gas Malaysia has selected Hospital Serdang, Hospital Selayang and Hospital Shah Alam to deliver the equipment due to the increasing number of COVID-19 patients.


For this effort, Gas Malaysia contributed one unit of High Flow Nasal Cannula to Hospital Selayang’s Emergency Department which will be used as a first line aid to deliver oxygen to COVID-19 patients. As for Hospital Serdang, a total of seven units of Syringe Pumps were contributed. Finally, for Hospital Shah Alam’s Emergency Department, Gas Malaysia donated five units of Reclining Chairs, 10 units of Fingertip Pulse Oximeter and 20 units of Ward Screen.


As a responsible business entity, Gas Malaysia’s timely contribution is hoped to ease the burden of our frontliners and hospitals attending to large number of COVID-19 patients. Moving forward, Gas Malaysia will continue to extend its CSR programmes to a wider pool of beneficiaries, especially during this trying times.
