Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, hosted His Excellency Sami Leino, Ambassador of Finland to Malaysia and his delegation for an inaugural working visit to PTP.

With the agenda to explore investment opportunities in the maritime industry, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Muhammad Abdullah Hatta, Chief Financial Officer of PTP together with senior management team of PTP. His Excellency was then given a comprehensive presentation to provide a clearer picture of PTP’s operational performances, the port’s progress and its ongoing development and contribution of the port industry towards the nation’s economic sustainability.

The working visit by the Ambassador of Finland and his delegation was part of PTP’s stakeholder engagement programmes in 2021 aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between PTP and the Government agencies while at the same time exploring business and investment opportunities for both parties.
