Northport Celebrates Employees’ Performance
and Achievement in 2021 with Awards and Recognitions

Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group organised an award presentation ceremony to recognise its employees’ performance and achievement throughout the year 2021. The programme, held at CBM Hall Northport C, was attended in-person by 125 employees while other employees witnessed the event virtually via Zoom.
The programme was the first award presentation event organised by Northport since the COVID-19 outbreak, to reward excellent individuals and teams in various award categories. Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof, Chief Executive Officer of Northport presented the prizes to all the award winners.
Among the awards presented during the event were InCITE Awards which were given to outstanding members of TeamNorthport for their exceptional performance based on the Company’s core values, namely Integrity, Customer Focus, Innovation, Teamwork and Excellence. The top performers of Container, Conventional and Logistics operations employees were also rewarded with Best Employee awards in their respective fields.
The winners of Northport’s 3R (Reduce-Reuse-Recycle) Competition, Record-Breaker T-shirt Showcase Challenge, Hari Raya Creative Video Contest and Northport Recreation Club’s New Logo Design Competition were also announced during the ceremony. Northport employees’ promotion and upgrading for 2022 were also announced by Dato’ Azman during the event.
The award presentation event was a meaningful way of celebrating Northport’s outstanding individuals and teams with the physical presence of other members of TeamNorthport to witness the memorable occasion. It also served as a platform for the employees to interact in-person with Northport’s Management team after more than two years of virtual meetings.
