Tanjung Bruas Port Channels Contribution to the Underprivileged Families for Upcoming Raya Celebration

Tanjung Bruas Port Sdn Bhd (“Tanjung Bruas Port”) together with YB Tuminah Kadi Mohd Hashim, Pantai Kundor assemblyman and JAPERUN Pantai Kundor have recently completed yet another meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Rezeki Dikongsi Bersama, that was held on 23 April 2022.

With the help of JAPERUN Pantai Kundor, 200 representatives from underprivileged families near the Port’s operations were identified as beneficiaries for this year’s programme.

Through the programme, Tanjung Bruas Port has successfully distributed 200 boxes of food essentials worth RM10,000.00 as well as financial aid worth RM20,000.00 to these families with the intention of easing their burden in hopes that these families will be able to have a meaningful and memorable Raya festivity, as they continue to face challenges after the outbreak of COVID-19.

As a caring organisation, Tanjung Bruas Port’s CSR initiative focuses on giving back to the communities especially in the areas where it operates, in order to facilitate the growth of the local socio-economy. Tanjung Bruas Port will continue with its efforts to assist the local communities and remain committed to being socially responsible in the long run.
