Johor Port Shares the Joy of Eid with UTM and Its Students

UTM’s Endowment Unit has organised a Hari Raya Celebration with its underprivileged students and invited Md Derick Basir, Chief Executive Officer, Johor Port Berhad to hand out financial aid to the students.

The main purpose for the establishment of the UTM Endowment Fund is to help the underprivileged students who are academically good but unable to finance their own study fees and cost of living.

As one of the main contributors to the UTM Endowment Fund, Johor Port’s contribution is part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) initiatives in helping underprivileged students towards pursuing their academic aspirations.

Johor Port together with MMC Group remain committed in empowering the next generation to be able to play a significant role in the nation’s knowledge economy through its various CSR initiatives.
