On 6 May 2016, MMC Corporation Berhad celebrated the MMC Group CEO Awards dinner held at Colmar Tropicale Bukit Tinggi, Pahang ceremony as part of the Senior Management Retreat programme. The event aimed to recognise outstanding achievements, excellent organisational performances of companies and remarkable leaders within MMC Group for their enduring commitment to excellence, developing best practices and innovative strategies.
The ceremony was attended and officiated by YBhg Dato' Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Group Managing Director of MMC Corporation Berhad. Also present at the event were the Senior Management team of MMC Group.
Four special awards were presented to winning companies and the winners crowned during dinner were Gas Malaysia Berhad for The Most Engaging Company, Malakoff Corporation Berhad for The Most Improved Company and MMC-Gamuda KVMRT (PDP) Sdn Bhd for The Highest Growth Company. The chosen criteria were selected from the contribution of outstanding financial achievements, leadership qualities, attrition rate and business excellence for MMC Group.
The main highlight of the event was the MMC Group CEO of the Year 2015, which was awarded to En Shahrull Allam Shah Abdul Halim, Chief Executive Officer of Johor Port Berhad for achieving excellence cost optimisation and employee engagement. All winners received a commemorative plaque and cash prizes. Heartiest congratulations to all the winners!
