Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a Member of MMC Group held its first MMC Ports town hall session on 25 April 2016 in a bid to share its current status, future plans and strengthen the employees’ understanding on the consolidation initiative.

The event, held at Port Briefing Room, Wisma A PTP saw participation of nearly 100 PTP employees from both Management and Non–Management from various departments.

The engagement session was conducted by Group Chief Executive Officer of MMC Ports, Mr Ian James. Also present during the event was PTP’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Johannes De Jong, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Muhammad Abdullah Hatta and the rest of PTP Senior Management team.

MMC Ports is an initiative by MMC Corporations Berhad to consolidate its ports and logistics businesses under one group called MMC Port Holdings Sdn Bhd (MMC Ports). The group aims to be the leading international port group with expertise in all cargo sections and a successful partner for port authorities both regionally and globally.
