MMC Pembetungan Langat Organises Friendly Badminton Match with

Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan

MMC Pembetungan Langat Sdn Bhd (MMC PLSB) held a friendly badminton match with Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan (JPP) on 2 April 2016 at the Sports Arena, Taman Sentosa. The event was organised as part of their stakeholder’s engagement to strengthen the ties between MMC PLSB and JPP to promote healthy sports activities.

The friendly match comprised of 2 categories, Individual Men’s Double and Team event. Team MMC PLSB was led by En Abd Fatah Endut, Chief Executive Officer of MMC Engineering Services Sdn Bhd while team JPP was led by En Ahmad Rozian Othman, Deputy Director General II and Team Gabungan AJP-MFA led by En Ahmad Azlan Adnan.  

JPP emerged as the overall winner for the Team event where 8 of their players took home medals and shopping vouchers. Team MMC PLSB on the other hand, won First Place for Men’s Double and settled at Third Place in the overall match.

The event was held in a very competitive environment yet enjoyable atmosphere. Fun, laughter and some good action were the highlights of the friendly badminton match. Ir. Chee Weng Loon, Group Head of Engineering and Constructions from MMC Corporation Berhad was pleased with the sportsmanship and camaraderie shown by all teams and presented the medals and prizes to the winners.
