On 1 May 2016, Malakoff celebrated its long-serving employees in an awards ceremony held in conjunction with the Malakoff Sports Carnival, at the Georgetown City Hotel, Penang.

A total of 85 long-serving employees consisting of 48 recipients for the 20 years awards, 24 recipients for 15 years and 13 recipients for 10 years, were celebrated as an appreciation of their loyalty to the Company.

En. Habib Husin, Executive Vice President, Operations of Malakoff presented the awards to the recipients. Speaking at the event, he said, “I would like to express my deepest thanks to our long-serving employees on the sacrifices and contributions they had given during their working time with Malakoff.”

“I hope this award will be a morale booster for other colleagues to continue serving with Malakoff by working diligently for the good of the Company and its employees,” he added.

During the award dinner, all the Long Term Service Awards recipients were given certificates and cash as a symbol of appreciation and recognition for their contributions to the Company.
