Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB), a Member of MMC Group organised its first employee town hall session for 2018. The event held at the cargo office’s compound area, PPSB, saw more than 300 employees in attendance from various departments.
The town hall, aimed at building a stronger relationship between the employees and management, served as a platform for PPSB’s management to share the company’s latest updates and direction for the year 2018.
The event saw the attendance of Dato’ Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Group Managing Director of MMC Corporation Berhad (MMCB), Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Syed Abdul Jabbar Syed Hassan, Group Advisor of MMCB, Ian Brian James, Group Chief Executive Officer of MMC Ports Holdings Sdn Bhd, Sasedharan Vasudevan, Chief Executive Officer of PPSB and Radhi Mohamad, Chief Operating Officer of PPSB.
Upon arrival, Dato’ Sri Che Khalib was greeted by Squadron No 3 (40) Rejimen Pakar Pengendalian Pelabuhan, Penang Port for a parade inspection.
In his opening speech, Dato’ Sri Che Khalib conveyed the importance of communications between management and employees. He also expressed his gratitude for the high level of dedication and commitment shown by all employees to strive for greater success.
The town hall session was part of PPSB’s 2018 Stakeholders’ Engagement Programmes and the company’s continuous initiative to engage employees across PPSB.
