MIt was a double celebration for Alam Flora Sdn. Bhd (Alam Flora) and its subsidiary company, Alam Flora Environmental Solutions Sdn Bhd (AFES), when both won prestigious awards at the Global Business Leadership Awards 2020.
Alam Flora was conferred with Excellence in Waste Management and AFES took home the Excellence in Facilities Management awards. Organised by Asia Pacific Business Council for Sustainability and Institute of Sustainability, the event was held on 29 September 2020 at Putrajaya Marriot Hotel. Present during to receive the awards during the event were Dato Mohd Zain Hassan, Chief Executive Officer of Alam Flora and Nazar Abdul Raof, Chief Operating Officer of AFES.
Commenting on the double winning, Dato Mohd Zain said, “These awards is a true testament and recognition for both companies as it shows our commitment in giving nothing but the best to the people of Malaysia. This winning will indeed spur us further as to give our very best and nothing but the best in terms of service and results to all Malaysians. Alam Flora and AFES will continue to push the bar for the benchmark, for excellence in waste management in the country and region.
Adding on, Nazar Raof said, “Being honoured and acknowledged for our facilities management excellence, will further pushes AFES’ key business goals of providing holistic environmental solutions through sustainability development.
The Global Business Leadership Awards 2020 represents the most prestigious form of recognition for companies and organisations globally on leadership in business success and leadership in sustainability.
